10:54 a.m. Monday — Cars driven by Dean Minto, 40, and Sheridan Frenchak, 58, both of Butler, collided at East Cunningham and South Cedar streets.12:04 a.m. Monday — Mason M. Menell, 30, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Filbert Street. Menell was also cited for careless driving.1:58 a.m. Friday — Michael Alan Butler Jr., 32, of Butler was arrested for DUI following a hit-and-run crash on Center Avenue.Police say Butler fled the crash, leaving behind his car, which struck a utility pole and a parked car. Officers found the suspect a short time later. A breath test showed his blood-alcohol level was more than double the state's 0.08 percent legal limit.Butler was charged Monday with DUI, hit-and-run and reckless driving.

12:19 p.m. Sunday — Heath Morgano, 28, was arrested after allegedly assaulting his 28-year-old girlfriend, Kylie Graham, during a domestic dispute at their home on Courtside Lane. Graham suffered unspecified injuries.Morgano was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.5:45 p.m. Saturday — Shawn C. Ferrer, 33, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his car collided with another vehicle at Hansen Avenue and Randolph Street. The crash pushed the other vehicle, driven by Michael Kutch, 58, of Butler into the back of a third vehicle, driven by Richard Wright, 51, of ButlerFerrer, who was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries, also is charged with reckless driving.

3:20 a.m. Sunday — Police discovered damage to a metal post at Memorial Park Drive and West Main Street. The damage apparently occurred Saturday or Sunday. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Friday — An unknown thief stole a 12-pack of Icehouse beer and an 18-pack of Yuengling beer from Grove City Beverage on West Main Street.3:13 a.m. Thursday — Craig Andrew Boliver, 21, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop for a red light violation. Boliver also faces charges of resisting arrest, institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct.Nov. 24 — An unknown burglar between 4:30 and 8 p.m. broke into the Penn Grove Hotel on East Pine Street. Police did not report if anything was taken.

Sunday — An unknown burglar over the weekend stole an unspecified gun from a home on Gilbert Road in Concord Township.1:40 a.m. Saturday — Kasey Rose Dischman, 23, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Whitestown Road and Chesapeake Street in Butler Township.10:13 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Rick L. Thomas, 45, of East Butler struck an embankment and rolled over on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township. Thomas fled the crash scene before police got there.He faces charges for leaving the scene of an accident, failing to immediately notify police of an accident, careless driving and a lane violation.Nov. 24 — John E. Foster, 39, of Slippery Rock was charged with DUI stemming from a Nov. 1 one-car crash on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Foster also is charged with careless driving, reckless driving and a lane violation.

Sunday — A 110cc, Wildfire Motors brand all-terrain vehicle was stolen from a garage between Nov. 15 and Sunday in a burglary at a home on Route 68 in Toby Township.
