Police said Thiry was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.2:37 a.m. Wednesday — About $500 in damage was reported when an unknown vandal threw a rock through a window at the Route 8 County Corner Store in Brady Township.12:40 p.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Patrick S. Kennedy, 17, and a pickup driven by Kayla M. Cowan, 25, both of Butler collided at Unionville and Maser roads in Center Township. Police said Kennedy was cited for a stop sign violation.5:35 a.m. Saturday — A pickup driven by Jason Guenther, 38, of Prospect struck a tree and rolled onto its roof along Unionville Road near Route 422 in Franklin Township. Police said Guenther was cited for speeding.

1:06 a.m. Tuesday — Lonnie Hoey, no age given, of Freeport was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.Tuesday — A tractor-trailer driven by Joseph B. Blake, no age given, of Cabot overturned and lost its load on Route 66 near Falcon Park in Manor Township.
