10:35 a.m. Wednesday — John P. Tomlin Jr., 25, of Butler was hurt when the pickup truck he was driving struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Valencia Road just north of Glade Run Road in Forward Township.Tomlin, who was not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries, was treated at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Police cited Tomlin for driving at an unsafe speed.Wednesday — An unknown burglar stole property worth about $1,000 from a camp on Book Road in Worth Township. Taken was a green Lawnboy mower, propane grill, charcoal grill, turkey fryer, trolling motor and Panasonic radio.The break-in happened between Sept. 28 and Wednesday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.9 p.m. Saturday — Four men landed in trouble with the law after a fight at the Parker House Bar in Parker, Armstrong County.Cited for disorderly conduct were Michael L. Steighner, 32, Anthony N. Glennon, 22, and David L. Lowers, 21, all of Parker; and Kirby A. Forsythe, 40, of St. Petersburg, Clarion County.
2:42 a.m. today — A pickup truck driven by Grant L. Rea, 21, of Harrisville struck a guardrail and spun out on Route 8 near South Bell Avenue in Sandycreek Township. Police said Rea was cited for a lane violation.
