The Lorenzes in 1960

John and Patricia Lorenz of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Mass to renew their vows followed by dinner at the Roman Catholic Men's Club in Herman.

Lorenz married the former Patricia Tassey on July 2, 1960, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, John Lorenz of Butler, James Lorenz of Butler, Leann Bauer of Butler, Christopher Lorenz of East Butler and Melinda Cornelius of Butler.

They also have 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Lorenz is retired from Armco. He is a member of the Roman Catholic Men's Club.

Mrs. Lorenz is a homemaker. She serves as a Eucharist minister at her church.

The Lorenzes are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
