Martha Louise Neely
Martha Louise Neely, 60, of Mercer died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at her home following an extended illness.
Born Sept. 30, 1948, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Albert C. Kelly and Ella Mae Lamison Kelly.
She was a lifetime member of the Muddycreek Presbyterian Church.
She was a caregiver with Diversified Family Services in Hermitage. She was an avid quilter and loved reading.
Her grandchildren were her "Pride and Joy."
She is survived by a daughter and her husband, Laura and Todd Schimp of Mercer; a son and his wife, Matthew and Sandra Neely of Mercer; three grandchildren, Zachary and Miranda Schimp and Allyn H. Neely; a sister, Linda Claypoole of Kittanning; two brothers, Charles "Butch" Kelly of Petrolia and Albert C. "Lou" Kelly of Butler; two half sisters, Mrs. George (Irene) Patterson of Grove City and Mrs. Robert (Alberta) Wigton of Hermitage; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Wib" Neely, who died Dec. 27, 2003.
<B>NEELY</B>— Friends of Martha Louise Neely, who died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Friends also will be received from noon until the time of the 2 p.m. service at Muddycreek Presbyterian Church. Her pastor, the Rev. Matt Kail, will officiate.Burial will be in the Muddycreek Cemetery.
