Janet H. Pehrson
Janet Heasley Pehrson, 73, of Greensburg died Wednesday at her home.
Born Dec. 16, 1932, in Great Belt, Jefferson Township, she was a daughter of Charles and Margaret Jordan Heasley.
She retired from Mellon Bank after 35 years. She was an active volunteer with Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital and Mellon Bank. She was an avid painter.
Mrs. Pehrson was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Greensburg.
Surviving are three brothers, Clifford and David Heasley, both of Greensburg and Merle Heasley of Englewood, Ohio; and her sisters, Betty Cooper and Margy Hoffman Tebay and her husband, William, all of Butler, Emogene Lyon and her husband, James, of Meridian, Shirley Harper and her husband, John, of Seal Beach, Calif., and Donna Downing and her husband, Lester, of Greensburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis T. Pehrson; brothers, Dale, Glen, Robert, Charles, Wade and Earl Heasley; and sisters, Sara Oesterling and Nancy Hummell.
<B>PEHRSON </B>— Friends of Janet Heasley Pehrson, who died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME</B>, 524 N. Main St., Greensburg. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First Lutheran Church, 246 S. Main St., Greensburg, with the Rev. Douglas Heagy officiating.
