Betty J. Fehl Hicks, 80, of Evans City passed away Wednesday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.

Born in Ellwood City, June 30, 1928, she was the daughter of late William A. and Bonnie Irvine Fehl.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Evans City.

She had retired from Evans City Elementary School cafeteria.

She was an active member of the Evans City Sixty Plus.

Mrs. Fehl and her husband enjoyed going to Florida and camping with friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Surviving are her husband, George Hicks, who she married June 4, 1948, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. Other survivors are a son, William Hicks of Sewickley; and four grandchildren, C. Michelle Hicks Ntampaka, Jonathan W. Hicks, Kaylyn Hicks and Matthew Hicks.
