Ruth Shever Fox, 95, of Zelienople died Thursday at Passavant Retirement Community.

Born July 3, 1912, in Turtle Creek, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rebecca Peffer Willetts.

Mrs. Fox was a life member of the Grace Church Of Harmony. She enjoyed games, sewing, crossword puzzles and quilting. She was a former telephone operator in Zelienople.

She is survived by a daughter, Dawn E. Lampard and her husband, Peter, of North Canton, Ohio; a son, Delmar E. Shever and his wife, Barbara, of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; mother/grandmother to Brent Shever and Darcy Shever Siebert; sister-in-law, Mrs. Lee (Helen) Willetts of Harmony; and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dennis (Sandra) Shever of Harmony.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul C. Shever; her second husband, John E. Fox; two sons, Garey P. Shever and Dennis D. Shever; her stepson, Gerald Fox; two sisters, May Keefer and Mary Fosholdt; four brothers, Glenn, Ray, Bruce and Lee Willetts; and her grandson-in-law, Capt. Todd Michael Siebert.
