11:22 a.m. Thursday — Surenu Erika Frank, 23, of Butler was charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole several granola bars from the A-plus Sunoco on East Jefferson Street.2 p.m. Thursday — Adrienne Beachem, 44, of West Sunbury was charged with false IDto law enforcement and possession of a small amount of marijuana after she was arrested during a search warrant served at 334Z\x S. Washington Street. Heather Kuhrt, 24, of Butler, also arrested on a warrant, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both women are in the Butler County Prison.

7:55 a.m. Thursday — John Tomlin, 22, of Butler was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication after police were dispatched to Home Depot for a possible overdose.7:06 p.m. Aug. 19 — Steven Cline, 21, of Lyndora and Bodacious Emerick, 20, of Butler were each charged with conspiracy, attempted theft by deception, retail theft and receiving stolen property after they allegedly tried to return stolen merchandise at Lowes in Moraine Plaza in exchange for a gift card.

2:30 a.m. Saturday — Mark E. McLaren Jr., 21, of New Castle was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop along Route 8 in Brady Township.2:30 a.m. Saturday — Kyle Miller, 19, of Edinburgh, Pa., was charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop along Route 8 near Hall Road in Brady Township.1:45 a.m. Saturday — Christopher Blankenship, 23, of Chicora was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Chicora Road and Hemphill Lane in Donegal Township.1:30 p.m. Friday — Police are searching for Carissa Rose Kelsea, 16, of West Sunbury who ran away from her home on Hill Lane in Clay Township. Kelsea is about 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds and has dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue shorts with "New York" on the back and white flip-flops. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9:45 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Adam T. Huff, 21, of Chicora crashed and rolled onto its roof along Route 356 in Summit Township. Huff, who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured.6 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Robert J. Hancharik, 58, of Hilliards and a vehicle driven by Patricia S. Beck, 56, of Chicora collided along Route 38 near Ball Lane in Concord Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and suffered minor injuries.4:41 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Adam Speer, 28, of Evans City and a car driven by Daniel Kunselman, 45, of Lyndora collided along Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. Speer was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Kunselman was wearing a seat belt and suffered a minor injury. A passenger in Speer's car, Andrew Hiles, 24, of Callery suffered unknown injuries and was taken by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.11:59 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole an unknown amount of scrap steel belonging to Randy Geibel of Butler from property along Carbon Center Road in Summit Township between 12:01 a.m. Aug. 28 and 11:59 p.m. Thursday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Thomas J. Reay, 18, of Karns City was struck by a hit-and-run driver in a blue sedan at the intersection of Route 38 and Harper Road in Concord Township. Relay was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.6:30 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole a 5-gallon gas can and a Jennings compound bow valued at $200 that belonged to Mario Fernando Lopes of Butler from a shed along Saxonburg Road in Jefferson Township between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 p.m. Thursday.Thursday — Someone entered a vehicle parked at Ivy Apartments in Slippery Rock Township, stealing two yellow Jansport backpacks containing textbooks and two calculators, golf clubs in a black nylon pack and a Garmin GPS system belonging to Thomas McKinley of Slippery Rock between Wednesday and Thursday. A Pioneer stereo system and numerous CDs belonging to Riley Donovan, 22, of Slippery Rock were taken from a second vehicle. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.1:36 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Eric J. Holt, 33, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Game Reserve Road in Clearfield Township. Holt was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.7:05 a.m. Aug. 29 — A car driven by Amanda J. Spinneweber, 23, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Unionville Road in Franklin Township. She was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.6:40 a.m. Aug. 29 — Someone stole a box of magazines belonging to Harold Davis of Saxonburg from his garage on Brewer Road in Clinton Township between 10 p.m. Thursday and 6:40 a.m. Friday.2:35 a.m. Aug. 23 — Jeffrey J. Staninecz, 39, of Natrona Heights was charged with driving under the influence at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.12:55 a.m. Aug. 23 — Floyd D. Atherton, 47, of Lower Burrell was charged with driving under the influence at a sobriety checkpoint on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County.

9:35 a.m. Thursday — A pickup truck driven by Bernardo F. McGaughey, 71, of Fenelton and a pickup truck driven by Mary A. Davis, 30, of Karns City collided at the intersection of Nicola Road and a private road in West Franklin Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. McGaughey was not injured and Davis suffered moderate injuries. An infant passenger in Davis' truck was in a child safety seat and was not injured.
