4:03 a.m. Tuesday — Christopher Selfridge, 37, of Butler suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer on Whitestown Road near Villa Drive. Police said Selfridge faces a ticket for riding a motorcycle after dark on a learner's permit.3:34 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Kimberly Wheeler, 28, of New Castle struck the rear of a pickup on Route 422 just west of the Lyndora interchange. Joseph Henry, 34, of Wampum, Lawrence County, was driving the truck.Monday — A video camera, 35 mm camera and digital camera were stolen between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. in a burglary at a home in the Woodbury Estates Plan.

6:55 p.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Matthew W. Myers, 19, of Karns City struck a tree along Wieland Road near Cranmer Lane in Concord Township. Police said Myers was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.6:30 a.m. Tuesday — Michael C. Baptiste, 39, of Fenelton was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer, rolled onto its side and slid off County Line Road near Route 422 in Clearfield Township. Baptiste, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered moderate injuries.1:19 a.m. Tuesday — Harvey Alan Best Sr., 40, of East Brady, Clarion County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 68 in Oakland Township.6:30 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Lori A. Young, 41, of Butler struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof on Spiker Road in Clearfield Township. Police said Young, who suffered minor injuries, was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.7:50 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Matthew C. Birch, 19, of Tionesta, Forest County, hit a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Police said Birch was cited for a lane violation.Monday — An unknown burglar kicked in a door at Shmily's Ice Cream in Franklin Township and made off with about $270 in rolled coins. The business break-in occurred between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday. Damage to the store was estimated at $100.Monday — A black case containing numerous music compact discs was stolen from a car at a Kittanning Pike home in Fairview Township. Nearby, a second vehicle at a Greenhill Road home was broken into and a Nextar navigation system and about $78 in change were stolen.Police believe the thefts happened between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 5:50 a.m. Monday.12:30 a.m. Sunday — Bruce E. Henry, 45, of Franklin Township was arrested for suspicion of DUI at Route 422 and North Road in Franklin Township.5:44 a.m. Aug. 11 — Someone stole a Pioneer compact disc player from a car on Vogleyville Road in Summit Township.Aug. 11 — A Cobra citizen's band radio was stolen from a dump truck on Route 422 near Dick Road in Franklin Township. The unknown thief smashed out a window to get into the truck between noon Aug. 10 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 11.Aug. 9 — A red, Honda 300 EX all-terrain vehicle was stolen between 1 and 8 a.m. from the back of a truck on Madison Avenue in East Butler.5:15 a.m. Aug. 8 — A fishing tackle box was stolen out of a boat on a truck's trailer at Swidinski's Sunoco in Franklin Township.4:47 p.m. Aug. 8 — A car driven by Steven C. Kuhrt, 18, of Butler crashed into a utility pole along Henricks Road in Center Township. Police said Kuhrt was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.Aug. 8 — A burglar pried open a door and stole about $2,000 and a checkbook at a Sunmine Road home in Clinton Township.
