11:55 a.m. Tuesday — Cars driven by Edward Dulce, 48, of Pembroke Pines, Fla., and Brian Skal, 41, of Lyndora collided on Route 8 South. Dulce suffered a minor injury.8:21 p.m. Monday — Albert Richard Ozog II of Butler was arrested for allegedly confronting police in the 700 block of East Brady Street. Officers were called for an unruly man and found the defendant standing in the middle of the street.Ozog is accused of moving "aggressively" toward officers, one who had to use a Taser on him. Ozog is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.5:18 p.m. Monday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Thomas W. Gaiser Jr., 57, and a car driven by Matthew H. Bonyak, 46, both of Butler, collided at East Jefferson and South Cliff streets.7:01 p.m. July 8 — Two youths caught by police under the South Main Street bridge were taken to their parents.One of the suspects, who tried to start a fire by lighting a fast food container, was cited for disorderly conduct. The other, who knocked over a handicapped parking sign, was cited for criminal mischief. Police did not identify the youths.4:47 p.m. July 8 — A car driven by Michele Kerner, 40, of Center Township and a motorcycle driven by James E. O'Donnell, 47, of Butler collided at East Cunningham and South Cedar streets. O'Donnell, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries. Kerner was cited for a stop sign violation.
Monday — Police filed felony theft-related charges against two Clarion County women accused of shoplifting 18 DVDs valued at $618.34 at the Wal-Mart in Butler Commons in May. Kayti Reitler, 26, of Rimersburg and Felicia Troup, 21, of Strattanville are charged with retail theft, conspiracy and receiving stolen property.
10:29 p.m. Monday — Gerald Fetterman, 30, of Chicora was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his all-terrain vehicle crashed on East Slippery Rock Road in Donegal Township.12:19 p.m. Monday — Two Venango County men were hurt when a pickup truck driven by Daniel K. Clawson, 52, of Kennerdell struck an embankment and rolled onto its side on Route 356 in Winfield Township. Clawson and a passenger, Timothy W. Snyder, 39, of Franklin, suffered minor injuries. Clawson was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.
