Sara M. 'Peg' McCaslin
Sara M. "Peg" McCaslin, 77, of Slippery Rock died Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital as a result of an automobile accident.
Born May 27, 1930, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Victor Roy and Nancy Wolford Snyder Sr.
She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post 243, and she enjoyed bowling, bingo and swimming.
She retired as a postal worker from the U.S. Postal Service.
Surviving are a daughter, Denise Noblit of West Sunbury; four sons, Wendell McCaslin of California, Mark McCaslin of West Sunbury, Todd McCaslin of Hilliards and Brian McCaslin of West Sunbury, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by seven sisters and a brother.
<B>MCCASLIN </B>— Friends of Sara M. "Peg" McCaslin, who died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, where services will follow at 8:30 p.m. The Rev. Karl Schoch of the Springdale Lutheran Church will officiate.
