Pickup recreational soccer games have been planned for boys and girls ages 7 to 17 beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays at the Clay Township Park, Route 138 and Euclid School Road.Participants should bring gym shoes and water.

The annual Butler Varsity Fall Cheerleading Clinic takes place from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 3 at the Butler High School gym.Cost is $25 per person and includes T-shirt, pom-pom and snack.
