The Freeport Youth Football Organization will hold its Field Dedication Day at 11 a.m. Sept. 10.The organization involves 148 children from Freeport, South Buffalo and Buffalo Township. The field is located just left of the rear of Lernerville Speedway.Lernerville Speedway and other businesses in the Sarver area donated time and money over the past several years for the construction of a football field on the speedway's property.Past board members and those respective businesses will be recognized at the Sept. 10 ceremonies.

The Seneca Valley Junior Football Association North is raising funds to build a field house near the athletic field at Evans City Elementary School.This building would house equipment and uniforms. Estimated cost of the building is $15,000 to $20,000.
