Cody Conklin rambled 39 yards for a touchdown on the first play after a fumbled kickoff as Penn Street rolled to a 37-0 victory over East Side in Butler Area Midget Football League play Saturday at Memorial Park.

The game was part of the season-opening BAMFL Jamboree, during which 10 games were played.

Corey Kuhrt added the two-point conversion kick. John Cumpston returned an East Side punt 60 yards for a score and Dillon Weston's conversion run upped the count to 15-0.

Conklin returned a punt 65 yards for a TD and Kuhrt added the two-point kick. Conklin later returned a fumble 10 yards for a score and Derek Lenhart brought back an interception 26 yards to paydirt.

East Butler 30, South Butler 20 -

East Butler built a 16-0 lead in the first half as Matt Bartley scored on a 1-yard run and Michael Ahrens added the conversion. Zack Harrison added an 80-yard run and East Butler also scored on a safety.

South Butler scored in the third quarter on Logan Renwick's 39-yard run. In the fourth period, Cody Herold's interception set up a 25-yard East Butler TD pass from Eli Christy to Chad Neff.

Renwick scored on a 52-yard run for South Butler, but Neff answered with a 60-yard run. JaQuan Henry closed out the scoring for South Butler with a 60-yard run.

Center Township 22, Meridian 0 -

Tyler Ford scored on a 7-yard run for Center Township, with Cole Harvey adding the conversion kick. Cole Baxter scored on an 8-yard run in the second quarter.

Baxter added a 5-yard TD run later in the game. Center Township also recorded a safety in the victory.

East Side 13, Penn Street 6 -Spencer Murray scored on a 34-yard run and Dante Dorcy returned an interception for a score for East Side.
