The Northern Crew girls under-11 Blue soccer team won the Bay Challenge Cup in Bay Village, Ohio, last weekend.

The team posted four consecutive shutouts in winning the event. Rachel Weyand scored two game-winning goals and Caterina Lopresti demonstrated strong midfield play.

Other players on the team include Logan Wright, Emily Ferraro, Taylor Brown, Emily Jones, Chelsea McCartney, Hannah Krugger, Emily Schumacher, Courtney Lineman, Nicole Zirpoli, Emily Lopresti and BreeAnn Wood.

The squad will travel to Hudson, Ohio, to participate in the Columbus Day challenge.
