Mark Malecky scored two goals — off a corner kick and another on a penalty kick —but the Butler boys middle school soccer team (0-3) lost to Shaler 3-2 Wednesday.

Tyler Boulinger scored a goal, but the Butler boys middle school team fell to North Hills 5-1 Monday.

In other youth soccer games:

• Maranda McGovern had a goal and assist Sunday as the Slippery Rock under-12 girls Division Cteam defeated Wilmington, 2-0.

Haley Urben added a goal and Kristin McDeavitt had an assist. Goalies were Alicia Bertozzi and Morgan Siebka.

• Michael Stutz scored two goals with Josh Stutz and Kyle Hinchberger adding assists as the Prospect Boys and Girls Club defeated Freedom, 2-1.

Jordan Marks had 10 saves in goal.
