East Butler received touchdowns from three different players in defeating South Butler, 22-6, in Butler Area Midget Football League play last Saturday at Memorial Park.
The game was the only league contest completed that day as lightning forced the postponement of Center Township-Meridian and Penn Street-East Side to 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 7.
Cody Eyth scored on a 4-yard run to get East Butler (1-1) on the board in the first quarter, but South Butler (0-2) recovered a fumble in the second quarter and tied the game on Cody West's 3-yard touchdown pass to Marc Hunka.
East Butler snapped the tie in the third quarter when Cody Herald scored on a 5-yard run and Colin Williamson added the two-point conversion kick. Matt Bartley ran 24 yards for a score in the fourth period, Williamson adding another conversion.

Penn Street 6, South Butler 0 — Dillon Weston scored on a 6-yard run in the fourth quarter for the game's only points.
East Side 16, Meridian 6 — East Side sacked the quarterback in the end zone for a safety in the second quarter and Dane Patricelli scored on a 29-yard run for the Mustangs.Derek Michael scored on a 3-yard run to extend the lead to 16-0 in the third quarter before David Paterno scored on a 7-yard run for Meridian.
Center Township 7, East Butler 0 — David Hohn scored on a 20-yard run in the first quarter and threw a conversion pass to John Barkus.
