Cody Prelec assisted on the goal. Molly Weitzel, Danielle Wissinger and Casey Dudek provided good defensive play, and Jordan Marks had eight saves in goal.

Northern SteelIn tournament play in Lodi, Ohio:• The under-13 girls defeated the Cleveland Futbol Club 2-0 as Lauren Castello scored both goals. Carley Kordas got the shutout in goal. Kordas also earned shutouts in 0-0 ties with the Cleveland Impact and Cleveland Whitecaps.• The under-13 boys tied Cleveland Boca 2-2 as Kyle Terrill and David Hidinger scored for Northern Steel. After a 2-0 loss to Ohio Premier, James Wisniesky scored Northern Steel's goal in a 1-1 tie with NWCPremier.• The under-14 boys tied the Cleveland Whitecaps 0-0 and tied the Medina Rangers 1-1 on a goal by Bo Frank.• The under-14 girls made it to the finals. Carly Deskins scored two goals and Demi Depastino one in a 3-0 win over Pennine United. Goalkeeper Chelsea Rice had the shutout. Rice had another shutout in a 0-0 tie with IFC.Deskins scored all four goals in a 4-0 victory, and Tori Ruth scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win over the North Stars.Century United White defeated Northern Steel in the title game, 3-0.
