YOUTH FOOTBALL
The 12-year-old Seneca Valley Junior Football Association Raiders football team defeated Upper St. Clair, 22-0, Saturday at NexTier Stadium.
The win improved the team's record to 7-0 and sends it to the Greater 19 Youth Football League Super Bowl this Saturday at Dormont Stadium.
Seneca Valley, which outscoring its opponents 144-0 this season, will play Thomas Jefferson.
The Spartans' 115-pound and 135-pound teams won their respective Super Bowl games Saturday at Mars Community Park. The teams finished the season at 11-0.<B>Saxonburg Spartans 14, Mars White 0 (115 pounds) — </B>Quarterback David Gallagher broke a scoreless tie with a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
