John Ferguson scored 14 points to lead the Butler Catholic boys basketball team to a 41-27 victory over Aquinas Academy recently.

Tyler Protivnak added 11 points and Dan Cleary had 10 rebounds.

• In a previous game against St. Gregory's of Zelienople, Butler Catholic (9-3) took a 36-32 overtime win as Chris Gamble scored 22 points.

• The Butler White eighth-grade boys suffered a 41-18 loss to Hampton. Cory Wheeler scored five points for Butler (1-2).
