The Butler junior high wrestling team won all four of its matches to claim the fourth annual Butler Duals on Saturday.
Jared Hinkle, Ryan Hortsman, Cody Houston, Ryan Hannon and Zack Weaver recorded pins for Butler in a 57-24 win over Shaler, then Hannon, Korey Caudill, Mason Boy, Jake Olenick and Patrick Lokhaiser earned pins in an 81-15 rout over Ft. LeBeouf.
Trailing NA Black 31-18, Butler won the final seven bouts to post a 52-31 triumph as Houston, Weaver and Matt Kenyon had pins. In a 78-24 victory over Hopewll, Caudill, Xavier Bennett, Mike Fritz and Zack Shultz had pins.
Butler, which claimed its third title in four years, will host Seneca Valley Wednesday.
n Chris Gamble scored 15 points in consecutive games for the Butler Catholic varsity (grades 7-8) boys basketballteam, leading to a 41-33 victory over Holy Sepulcher on Friday and a 36-20 win against Cardinal Wright Saturday.
John Ferguson added 12 points against Holy Sepulcher while Ferguson and Dan Cleary had nine rebounds apiece against Cardinal Wright.
The Saints improved theirmark to 11-4.
