Moniteau wide receiver Tony Campbell, linebacker Jacob Boy and Karns City quarterback Anthony Stimac have been named second team All-PIAAClass AA.

Campbell had 43 catches for 1,017 yards and 14 touchdowns while Boy had 22 quarterback sacks for the Warriors. Stimac, who made the all-state team as a specialist, rushed for 970 yards and 15 touchdowns and threw for 903 yards and 19 scores.

NEW YORK — Roger Clemens' former personal trainer filed paperwork preserving the right to sue the seven-time Cy Young Award winner in New York.Brian McNamee, who told federal investigators that Clemens used performance-enhancing drugs, contends the pitcher defamed him after McNamee spoke to investigators for former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell. The summons, filed in Queens Supreme Court last week, preserves McNamee's right to sue, Richard Emery, a lawyer for McNamee, said.

LOS ANGELES — Even after losing Mark Teixeira to the free-spending New York Yankees, the Los Angeles Angels don't plan to pursue slugger Manny Ramirez.Angels general manager Tony Reagins said that instead of trying to land Ramirez, the club is "going to give our younger players an opportunity to play."Because owner Arte Moreno and manager Mike Scioscia had said complimentary things about Ramirez, speculation had grown that the team would go after the free-agent outfielder if Teixeira didn't return to the Angels.Kendry Morales, 26, will take over for Teixeira if Los Angeles doesn't acquire another first baseman.

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — New York Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis was fined $10,000 by the NFL for throwing snow at fans following the team's loss at Seattle on Sunday.Several fans threw snowballs at New York players and staff as they walked off the field after the Seahawks' 13-3 victory. As he approached the walkway leading to the locker room, Ellis reached into a pile of snow, picked up a large chunk and tossed it into the stands at Qwest Field.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — James Harris resigned as Jacksonville Jaguars personnel chief, taking the fall for a franchise that flopped this season.Coach Jack Del Rio already told strength and conditioning coach Mark Asanovich he would not return for a seventh season, likely the scapegoat for all of Jacksonville's injury problems in 2008. Veteran guards Tutan Reyes and Charles Spencer were waived Monday. Defensive coordinator Gregg Williams and special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis could be gone, too.
