Tip of the Week

If you feel as though you need to increase the height of your backswing to generate more ball speed on a dry condition, pay attention to your nonbowling arm position.

To get the ball higher in the swing, your other arm should be positioned forward toward the lane, allowing you to open your shoulders and allowing for more arc to the backswing.

This also could be a good check if you feel your backswing has gotten too high. To reduce the swing, concentrate on a more upright body angle and keep your nonbowling arm directly out to the side of you.

Trivia question
