Francis 'Frank' Walter
Francis M. "Frank" Walter, 83, of Mushrush Road died at 5:43 p.m. Thursday at his home.
Born on the North Side of Pittsburgh on March 8, 1926, he was the son of the late Francis B. Walter and Rose Ann Carr Walter.
Mr. Walter was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the Knights of Columbus 3907 in Wexford. He was a retired engineer.
Mr. Walter was married to Margaret Rose Austin Walter, who preceded him in death on July 22, 1985.
He is survived by five sons, Francis M. Walter Jr. of Butler, Raymond F. Walter of Brokenarrow, Okla., Paul R. Walter of Butler, Charles T. Walter of Butler and John J. Walter of Gray, Ga.; a daughter, Margaret Rose Walter of Pittsburgh; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Rose Ann, and a granddaughter, Emily.
