Bowser, Kavanagh

Cayce Bowser of Butler and Michael Kavanagh of Pittsburgh were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Meridian Vets Club in Meridian. The Rev. Stephen Cahoon, of Meridian United Presbyterian Church, officiated. A reception followed at the Meridian Vets Club.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Loraine Bowser of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Kenneth Kavanagh of Mechanicsburg and Cynthia Crescenzi of Harrisburg.

The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Jessica Bowser of New York City. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Jennifer Pittore of Dublin, Ohio, and Shaylane Anglucci of Harrisburg.

Serving his son as best man was Kenneth Kavanagh of Mechanicsburg. Ushers were Terry Helman and Brian Rooney, both of Harrisburg.

The bride graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2001 from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. She works as a photo lab manager for Eckerd Drug Store.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Cumberland Valley High School. He works for Clean Water Action.

The couple is living in Brentwood while planning a Jamaican honeymoon in February.
