Jacqueline Sheakley and Robert Shorts Jr., both of Butler, exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. June 26 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cabot. The Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiated. A reception followed at the Fieldhouse Banquet Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Sheakely of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Susan Shorts of Butler and the late Robert Shorts.

The honor attendant was Jenn Sheakley of Butler. Bridesmaids were Danielle Wigand of Carrollton, Texas, and Karin Kroll of Prospect. The flower girls were Nichole Gamble, and Isabelle Thoma and Emily Thoma, all of Butler.

Performing the duties of best man was Brian Johanson of Petrolia. Ushers were Andrew Kriberney of Butler and Ray Kroll of Prospect.

The bride graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 2000 from Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor's degree in communications. She works for Verizon Wireless in Cranberry Township.

The bridegroom graduated in 1996 from Knoch High School.

The couple is living in Butler.
