BUTLER TWP — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard the following cases:
Carrie Abraham, 39, of Lyndora waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filed May 30 by Butler Township police.
Robert A. Connors, 20, of West Sunbury pleaded guilty to charges of disorderly conduct and false identification to law enforcement authorities, filed Jan. 29 by state police. He was ordered to pay $745 in fines and court costs.
Thomas Hobaugh, 50, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, making an illegal turn, not using turn signals, and an open container violation, filed Jan. 22 by Butler Township police.
Ronald Hume, 35, of Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, making an illegal turn, and an open container violation, filed Dec. 18 by Butler Township police.
Gerald Huntington, 31, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, a lane violation, careless driving, two lighting violations and not wearing a seat belt, filed Jan. 2 by state police.
Randy Scott, 39, of Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence and limitations on back up, filed Jan. 8 by Butler Township police.
Richard Swartzlander, 20, of Saxonburg pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Jan. 17 by Butler Township police.
Jeremy Watterson, 23, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by deception, filed Jan. 23 by Butler Township police. He was ordered to play $401.80 in fines and court costs.
Bobbie Wolfe, 34, of Butler waived to court two counts of bad checks, in separate cases filed Jan. 30 and Feb. 2 by Butler Township police.
EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard the following cases:Nicholas Andrew Verner, 28, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 7 by the Zelienople police with aggravated assault, harassment, making terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.James Leonard Coulter, 22, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 2 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, disregard of a flashing red signal and careless driving.Elizabeth K. Zagorac, 23, of Cranberry Township waived her case to court. She was charged Dec. 11 by the Jackson Township police with use/possession of drug paraphernalia.James Sgro, 58, of Butler waived his two separate cases to court. He was charged Oct. 30 by the Jackson Township police with writing bad checks. He was also charged Jan. 5 by the state police with theft by deception and failure/refusal to account money/valuables or belongings.Thomas Matthew Szymczak, 21, of Baden, Beaver County, waived his case to court. He was charged Jan. 10 by the Evans City police with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.Jacqueline Elizabeth Studeny, 23, of Valencia waived her case to court. She was charged Jan. 16 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, careless driving and periods required for lighted lamps (headlights).
CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard the following cases filed by state police:Dana Burns, 22, of West Sunbury waived to court charges of driving under the influence, speeding, careless driving, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Dec. 28.Chad Basham, 34, of Grove City pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing drug paraphernalia, filed Dec. 13. He was ordered to pay $243.50 in fines and court costs.Linda Livingston, 48, of Petrolia was held for court on a charge of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, filed Sept. 27.Anthony McCardle, 20, of Butler waived to court charges of conspiracy, simple assault and harassment, filed Jan. 11.Trevor Raible, 20, of Fenelton waived to court two counts each of conspiracy to commit robbery and conspiracy to commit theft, as well as theft, filed Nov. 3.Edward James Smith III, 28, of Chicora was held for court on two counts of corruption of minors, harassment and disorderly conduct, filed Jan. 3.Matthew Yancik, 31, of East Butler was held for court on charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, driving too fast for conditions and careless driving, filed Jan. 18.
