Wayne A. Haas
Wayne A. Haas, 83, of Harmar Township, formerly of Springdale and Frazer Township, passed away Wednesday at UPMC St. Margaret in Pittsburgh.
He was born March 12, 1925, in New Texas, Plum Borough, to the late Carl F. and Hazel Troutman Haas and was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was employed as an electrician for West Penn Power for 32 years, retiring in 1987.
Surviving are three sons, Daniel W. (Mary Ann) Haas of Emlenton, Randall L. (Sherry) Haas of Sarver and Robin L. (Jean) Haas of New Castle; two stepdaughters, Mary Jane Vozel of Washington, Pa., and Cheryl Ann Bachman of Springdale; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Haas of Maryland; and a sister, Jean Fielden of Florida.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Haas, and a grandson, Randall L. Haas Jr.
