Ethel B. Wigton Wiley
Ethel B. Wiley, 94, of the Trinity Living Center in Grove City, formerly of Forestville, died at 1:35 p.m. Thursday at the center.
Born in Butler County, Nov. 12, 1914, she was the daughter of Floyd M. Wigton and Alice Simpson Wigton.
She was a 1931 graduate of Grove City High School and retired in 1977 from the housekeeping department at Grove City College.
Mrs. Wiley was a member of the Forestville United Methodist Church.
She formerly bowled in several bowling leagues.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda G. McGarvey and her husband, Merle, of Wickliffe, Ohio; a son, Cary G. Wiley and his wife, Connie, of Mercer; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Daniels of GroveCity.
Her husband, James W. Wiley, who she married in 1933, died March 16, 1967. She also was preceded in death by three sisters, Elmo Parke, Erma Osborne and Vernie Vitale; and a brother, Earl Wigton.
<B>WILEY</B> — Friends of Ethel B. Wiley, who died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St.,Harrisville. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. David D. Ealy, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating.
