9:17 a.m. Tuesday — A maroon bicycle was stolen from a garage at a home on Memorial Avenue. The homeowner told police the suspect is a white male wearing a black hooded sweat shirt.The thief was carrying a black bag and a small red vehicle may be involved in the theft, a police report said. The older-style bike is described as having chrome fenders and a rear view mirror on the left side handle bar.Monday — An Apple iPod was stolen from a 13-year-old girl's locker at Grove City Middle School. The iPod, valued at $300, is described as having a black front and silver back, with a crack on the front from the bottom left to the top right and being equipped with a camera.

10:45 a.m. May 6 — Deputies arrested Jory Melik, 21, on a bench warrant at the Old Plank Estates apartment complex in Butler Township. Melik failed to appear at a court hearing.Brittany Ann Vozar, 21, of Butler, meanwhile, was charged with hindering apprehension after telling authorities Melik was not in the apartment, where deputies found him hiding in a bedroom closet.5:34 p.m. March 31 — Hannibal Hayes Smith, 23, of East Butler faces more charges after deputies arrested him on a bench warrant after a traffic stop on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. The additional charges are possession of drug paraphernalia and providing false identification to law enforcement authorities.

Tuesday — Police filed drugged driving charges against Dakota J. Hinchberger, 18, of Butler stemming from a 2:30 a.m. April 18 traffic stop on the Route 422 ramp at Route 68 in Summit Township.Police also cited Hinchberger for driving with a suspended license and a stop sign violation.Hinchberger's passenger, Adrienne A. Beachem, 43, of Butler, meanwhile, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.1:17 a.m. Sunday — Christopher Calhoun, 20, of Cranberry Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Leisie Road in Forward Township.2:25 a.m. Friday — Corey J. Shoup, 29, no known address, is accused of violating a 59-year-old woman's protection from abuse order after he entered her Chicora Road home in Summit Township. Police said Shoup is charged with indirect criminal contempt.12:12 a.m. May 8 — A car driven by Derek S. Lowers, 18, of Parker struck the back portion of a pickup truck on Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township. Police said Lowers passed the pickup, driven by Ronald E. Hoffman, 46, of Renfrew, in an apparent attempt to drive away.Hoffman followed the car to the end of a dead-end road. When Lowers stopped the car, according to a police report, an unknown passenger got out and ran off.Police said Lowers was cited for unspecified traffic violations in the crash.

Tuesday — Ryan Duttine, 18, of East Brady is accused of criminal mischief for allegedly vandalizing 11 tombstones at Bradys Bend Cemetery in March in Bradys Bend Township.Damage was estimated at $31,750. The vandalism occurred March 26 or 27.
