Thomas W. Fair, 69, of West Brady Street died at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday at Concordia Lutheran Care in Cabot.

Born June 19, 1939, in Butler, he was the son of the late Edgar Fair and the late Nellie Brewster Fair.

Mr. Fair worked at Armco until his retirement in February 1998.

He was baptized a Lutheran. Mr. Fair belonged to the French and Belgium Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends at his camp in Tionesta.

Mr. Fair is survived by his two sons, Thomas and his wife, Maria Fair, of Butler, and Terry Fair of Butler; three daughters, Donna and her husband, Bruce Edmiston, of Butler, Diana and her husband, David Smith, of Cranberry Township, and Deana Fair of Butler; eight grandchildren, Kristina, Ryan, Nicole, Megan, Andrew, Jacob, Jonathan and Mackenzie; a brother, Benjamin Fair of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Fair was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Novosat Fair, who he married June 25, 1960, and who passed away Sept. 10, 1996. He was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

<B>FAIR</B> — Friends of Thomas W. Fair, who died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERALHOME, INC.</B>, 124 E. North St. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Father Harry R. Bielewicz of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society of Butler County, 202 E.
