10:14 a.m. Wednesday — Tyrone L. Sub, 53, of Sarver lost control of his van on ice-covered South Main Street and struck a car parked in the 700 block.Butler Twp PoliceWednesday — Lerona Dejesus, 28, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle slid off Saw Mill Run Road.8:30 a.m. Tuesday — Trae Wilson, 18, of Butler was caught with suspected marijuana at Butler High School. Wilson is charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.In a separate case at the school, a 17-year-old Butler boy was caught with alcohol and charged with underage drinking.

Wednesday — Police charged Janita D. Catterall, 49, of Slippery Rock with passing a bad check for $622.96 on Nov. 3 at Flynn's Tire and Auto Service. Catterall is charged with bad checks.

10:05 a.m. Wednesday — Icy conditions were blamed for a one-vehicle accident in Lancaster Township that left one person injured. The crash happened when Shawn M. Campbell, 24, of Summerville, Jefferson County, lost control of her car and slid into a guardrail on Interstate 79.Diana J. Campbell, of 46, of Summerville, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries.6:57 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Sasha M. Staugh, 19, of Fenelton collided with a van at Route 422 and Karnes Road in Summit Township. A police report did not identify the driver of the van. Staugh was cited for a stop sign violation.2:10 a.m. Jan. 1 — Jill Claire, 58, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.

10:12 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Joshua R. Matters, 30, of Rimersburg slid into a guardrail on ice-covered Route 368 in Perry Township.Friday — Police reported they are investigating an alleged indecent assault at a home on Whitehill Road in Ashland Township. The accuser, a 13-year-old Rimersburg girl, told police that a she was molested between Dec. 26 and Friday. Police did not identify the suspect, described only as a male from Cranberry, Venango County.
