The Social Security Administration, 102 Woody Drive, will host sign up events for My Social Security Accounts this month.

The events will be at the administration office from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 21, 23 and 24.

My Social Security is a free online account that allows people quick, secure access to their personal Social Security information.

With an account, individuals can check their earnings and get estimates of future retirement, disability and survivors benefits they and their families may receive.

People already receiving benefits can also get benefit verification letters, get their SSA-1099/1042, change addresses and phone numbers and start or change direct deposit information.
