2:12 p.m. Friday — Vehicles driven by Sherri Geibel, 46, and Donald Hutchison, 54, both of Butler collided at North Duffy Road and Seneca Drive. Police said Geibel suffered a moderate injury.8:12 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Samantha Farabee, 17, of Butler and a sport utility vehicle driven by Nathan Beers, 43, of Evans City collided on Route 68 at the VA Butler Healthcare.
Noon June 23 — A silver and white, Mongoose KO BMX bike was stolen from the McDonald's restaurant on West Main Street.
9:30 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by Brandon T. Olar, 18, of Butler skidded about 20 feet before hitting an embankment on Hinchberger Road in Summit Township. Police said Olar was cited for a lane violation.6:16 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Kelly Albright, 42, of West Sunbury struck the rear of a sport utility vehicle on Mercer Road near Blossom Drive in Center Township. Rhonda Barkey, 57, of Butler was driving the SUV. Terry Barkey, 61, of Butler, a passenger in the SUV, suffered a minor injury.Tuesday — A 20-year-old woman is accused of spitting in her mother's face during an altercation at her parents' home on Pisgah Road in Venango Township.The suspect, Reva Rebecca Notaro, of Export, Westmoreland County; also threatened her mother in the incident that occurred apparently after her parents told her to leave their home.But Notaro refused to leave, according to court documents, even after police were called. When a trooper tried to handcuff the suspect, she pulled away, causing both to fall to the ground.The defendant was arraigned on charges of trespass, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and harassment and placed in Butler County Prison on $10,000 bail.3:49 p.m. Saturday — Patrick M. McNerney, 20, of Butler swerved his car to avoid two dogs and struck a tree along Robinson Run Road in Penn Township.Friday — Police arrested Shawn Michael Smith, 26, of Sarver for allegedly stealing numerous aluminum cans on May 30 at a Franklin Drive salvage yard in Winfield Township. Smith is charged with theft and trespass.3:55 p.m. Thursday — Vehicles driven by Michael K. Milbert, 42, and Aaron J. Randall, 19, both of Butler collided at Route 68 and Old Route 68 in Forward Township.June 24 — An unknown thief stole a green Craftsman lawn tractor from a storage shed in a burglary at a Muddy Creek Drive home in Brady Township. The suspect also tried but failed to break into the home. Police said the tractor was later recovered about 300 yards from the home, hidden in the woods.June 21 — Steven Dennis Kenyon, 25, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car traveled off the road and into a field along Routes 108 and 8 in Slippery Rock Township.
Friday — About $3,000 worth of trees and shrubs was stolen Thursday or Friday from the Stoney Hollow Nursery in West Franklin Township.
10:23 a.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Wayne Kasbee, 73, of Sandy Lake and a pickup truck driven by Dennis Youshock, 59, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 173 in Sandy Lake Township. Police said Kasbee, who suffered a minor injury, was cited for failure to yield.2:10 a.m. Saturday — Barbara Jean Cline, 37, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 58 near Hartwick Road in Findley Township. Police said Cline also faces charges of driving with a suspended license, careless driving and a lane violation.4 p.m. Thursday — Nunzio Bartolone, 33, of Grove City, 33, suffered minor injuries when an unknown vehicle hit him as he walked eastbound on Route 208 in Pine Township. The vehicle, which was traveling west, did not stop after the crash that knocked Bartolone onto the road.
6:29 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Jeffrey D. Viatle, 20, of Ellwood City struck the rear of another car on Route 65 near Oak Grove Lane in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Police said Viatle was cited for following too closely to another vehicle. Ashley Evanoski, 17, of New Castle was the other driver.
