Carl A. Beck Jr.

Carl A. Beck Jr., 29, of Linwood Drive, Butler, died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday from a fall at a construction site in Washington County.

Born July 13, 1980, in Butler, he was the son of Carl A. Sr. and Sharon A. Stakley Beck.

Carl was employed by C. A. Franc Construction in Valencia as a roofer. He was a member of the Community Alliance Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time in his boat.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancee, Cassidy Nixon of Butler; a son, Dylan M. Beck; and a daughter, Kylee M. Beck; a stepdaughter, Ava Rose; two brothers, Christopher L. Beck and Louis Beck, both of Butler; two sisters, Tonda Marshall of Tulsa, Okla., and Brandy Kern of Vero Beach, Fla.; many aunts and uncles and cousins; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by the mother of his children, Julia Fitzpatrick.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, and an uncle and an aunt.

<B>BECK</B> — Friends and family of Carl A. Beck Jr., who died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009, will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday at <B>THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME</B>, 124 E. North St.Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic of Community Alliance Church officiating.
