9:52 a.m. Tuesday — A Center Township woman in a parked car was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at Mercer and Dumbaugh streets.The crash happened when a car driven by Shawn Wirt, 33, of Butler hit the back of the parked car. Wirt's vehicle bounced off the other car and then hit the front of it. Wendy DeFrancisis, 45, of Center Township, was in the parked car and suffered minor injuries.Wirt was cited for careless driving.Sunday — A purse was stolen from a car parked in a church parking lot on Franklin Street. The thief smashed out a window to get into the car. The purse contained a cell phone and $80. The theft happened between 11 a.m. and noon.

4:43 p.m. Monday — Dee Ann Cross, 46, of Butler is accused of stealing a car from the parking lot of the Belmont II bar in Bon Aire Plaza. Police recovered the car, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am, a short time later at the same lot.Cross is charged with felony theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and driving with a suspended license.2:21 p.m. Monday — Olivia Grandelis, 19, of Butler was hurt when a car hit her as she tried to cross New Castle Road near the Sheetz store. Police said Grandelis walked into the path of the car driven by Brandie Bromman, 33, of Butler.Grandelis was knocked to the ground and suffered bruises to the arms and legs. She refused medical treatment.
