ZELIENOPLE — Borough police arrested a woman Friday for reportedly biting a man numerous times on his arm and shoulders.

Nicole Allen, 28, of Zelienople is charged with simple assault and harassment after police were called to a residence and found her and a man who had numerous bite marks.

Officers first responded to reports of a man and a woman screaming in a residence nearby and arrived to find Allen and Robert Schwanbeck on the sidewalk, out of breath and smelling strongly of alcohol, documents state.

Police separated the two. Arresting officer Bret Myers interviewed Schwanbeck.

Myers reported observing “numerous deep bite marks on Schwanbeck that were bleeding, most of the bites were on his right bicep, shoulder and elbow area.”

Myers also reported marks on the victim’s shoulder and redness on his back.

Asked what happened, Schwanbeck reportedly told police “I don’t want to get her in trouble,” and declined to explain the marks.

Myers then stood with Allen, and she started yelling at Schwanbeck, documents state.

Officers told her to lower her voice and when she refused took her into custody, documents state.

She reportedly resisted the officers’ attempts to arrest her, but they managed to put her in handcuffs and took her to the police department.

Allen was ultimately released on her own recognizance with a preliminary arraignment scheduled for Tuesday.
