Monday — Someone over the weekend broke into Dr. Michael Miller's dental office on South Cliff Street. Inside, an open office was ransacked. The locked doors of two other offices were kicked in and also ransacked. Nothing, according to a police report, turned up missing; however, three doors were damaged.2:28 p.m. Sunday — Christopher L. Spears, 56, of Butler was arrested for felony shoplifting after he allegedly stole two T-shirts worth a combined $32 from the Kmart store at Pullman Square.Spears is charged with a felony count of retail because he has eight convictions for shoplifting, according to a police report. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $1,500 bail, following arraignment.Sunday — A vehicle driven by Amanda Ann Beck, 27, of Butler struck a car parked on South Street. Beck got out of the vehicle she was driving and walked away from the crash. Police said they later cited her for hit-and-run and driving without insurance.1:29 p.m. Saturday — Heidi L. Bilinsky, 41, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on South Chestnut Street. Police said she also was cited for not using turn signals.Sept. 10 — Debra Werner, owner of the Variety Shop on South Main Street, reported that a gold necklace with a lobster charm, valued at $300, was taken from a desk at the store sometime within the past month.

3:33 a.m. Sunday — Daniel L. Miller, 62, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 South.3:59 p.m. Saturday — Police arrested April Miller, 34, of Butler after she allegedly shoplifted $13.27 in items at the Trader Horn in the Greater Butler Mart on Route 8 South. Because of two prior shoplifting arrests, Miller is charged with felony retail theft.12:25 a.m. Saturday — Miloslav Cerny, 56, of Butler was arrested after he allegedly used a rock to break a window at the Forest Heights Apartments complex on Route 8 South. Police said Cerny then forcibly entered another apartment.He fled the apartment but not before pulling the fire alarm, prompting tenants to evacuate the building, according to a police report.Officers got there and found the suspect, allegedly intoxicated, in the parking lot.Cerny was arraigned on two counts of trespass and charges of false alarms to public safety agencies, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.Friday — Assorted automotive items were stolen in an overnight burglary at W.C. Rasely Resellers Inc. on Herman Road. Among the property taken were two supercharger blowers for a vehicle engine.Anyone with information about the break-in is asked to call police at 724-285-9600.

Sunday — Larry D. Seelbaugh, 53, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on South Center Street near Pine Street. Police said he also was cited for not using turn signals.9 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Justin Cobern, 24, of Center Township struck a guardrail on George Junior Road. Police said Cobern was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.

Sunday — A pink and purple Barbie Power Wheel jeep was stolen from a yard at a home on Front Street in Chicora. The toy, valued at $100, was taken between 8 and 10:30 p.m.Saturday — A TomTom global positioning system device was stolen from an unlocked sport utility vehicle at the Heights Apartments in Slippery Rock Township. The theft happened between 12:30 and 7 a.m.Saturday — An unknown thief stole two Apple iPods and a Leapster hand-held video game system on Marigold Lane in Brady Township. The theft happened between Thursday and Saturday.10 p.m. Thursday — Jesse E. Valensky, 25, of Renfrew was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck an embankment and rolled over on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.2:05 a.m. Sept. 1 — Dan C. Coulter, 52, of Boyers was hurt when the pickup truck he was driving struck a street sign and mailbox along New Castle Road just northwest of Christley Lane in Slippery Rock Township.The pickup traveled over an embankment, rolled and ended in a wood area, trapping him inside. A passing motorist and another witness stopped to help Coulter.He was taken to Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries. Police said he was cited for a lane violation.

1:05 p.m. Sunday — A box truck driven by Moses S. Schall, 24, of Sarver collided with a sport utility vehicle on Route 28 south of exit 14 in Fawn Township, Allegheny County. Mary Krebs, 81, of Natrona Heights, who was driving the SUV, suffered moderate injuries in the crash.Police said Krebs, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by medical helicopter to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh with unknown neck and chest injuries and a ruptured spleen.

Monday — Police reported they are investigating a case of suspected sexual assault last week at a home in Pine Township. A Grove City woman told police that she was assaulted about 1 a.m. Sept. 9. Police did not identify the suspect, a Grove City man.Aug. 15 — An unknown thief stole $700 from a safe in an office at the Microtel Inn & Suites on Leesburg-Grove City Road in Springfield Township. The theft happened Aug. 14 or 15.
