11:35 a.m. Tuesday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Judith Surkosky, 70, of Butler Township and a tractor-trailer driven by Daniel Snider, 49, of Pittsburgh collided at Wagner Avenue and McKean Street.

2:45 a.m. today — A Westmoreland County man is accused of breaking into a Center Township apartment and assaulting a woman who lives there.Police have an arrest warrant for Jesse James Hynes, 28, of Greensburg stemming from the break-in at the home of 25-year-old Nicole Sepesie at Meadowood Apartments.The defendant allegedly kicked in a door and then kicked Sepesie in the stomach. Sepesie already had a protection from abuse order against Hynes.Police said Hynes is charged with burglary, trespass, simple assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and harassment, as well as the PF Aviolation.Wednesday — A red, 1986 Honda three-wheeler, valued at $700, and a 5-gallon container filled with gas were stolen from the Whitestown Road home of Ira Murdick in Connoquenessing Township. The theft occurred between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Thursday — An unidentified vehicle struck a sport utility vehicle parked at Route 208 and Walter Lane in Irwin Townshp, and was driven off after the crash between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10:15 a.m. Thursday.
