A two-vehicle accident resulted in injuries around 5:30 p.m. Monday at 315 N. Main St.

Trudy Banks, 69, of Connoquenessing Township was driving a Honda SUV out of an alleyway when the vehicle collided with a bicyclist heading north and crossing the alleyway from a sidewalk in front of Citizens Bank.

The woman riding the bicycle suffered injuries and was wearing a neck brace when she was transported by Butler Ambulance Service to a hospital.

Banks said her view was obscured by the brick wall of Citizens Bank, so she did not see the woman coming.

City police and fire departments were on scene.
