8:28 a.m. Thursday — A car driven by Susannah Weaver, 55, of Butler struck the back of another vehicle on Route 422 at the Connoquenessing Township line. Weaver was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Nancy Updegraph, 62, of Portersville was the other driver.10 a.m. Wednesday — Police arrested a fugitive wanted by Missouri authorities in a pair of drug cases. Officers nabbed Shawn McCullah, 34, of Monett, Mo., at the Super 8 Motel on Route 8 South.District Judge Sue Haggerty arraigned McCullah on a felony fugitive from justice charge. He is being held in the Butler County Prison.The Barry County Sheriff's Department in Missouri said authorities plan to seek the suspect's extradition, according to a police report.1:15 a.m. Wednesday — Debbie Anderson, 46, of Butler was hurt when a deer ran into her car on Route 8 South. The deer hit the driver's side door, breaking the window. Anderson suffered a minor cut to her neck from the shattered glass.2:12 p.m. Tuesday — Maxine Ireland, 80, of Butler lost control of her car while changing lanes and struck an embankment on Route 8 between Cooledge Street and the Pickelgate Bridge.Sunday — A car driven by Jaime Homison, 25, of East Butler struck another vehicle while backing out of a parking space on Old Plank Road, and did not stop after the accident. Police said Homison was cited for hit-and-run and for backing into the vehicle owned by Jeff Foreback of Emlenton, Venango County.

12:10 p.m. Sunday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Christopher J. Evans, 43, of Mercer struck a deer on Route 208 near Pine Top Drive in Pine Township.2:20 p.m. Sept. 29 — Cars driven by Ronald A. Hardisky, 55, of New Castle and Linda L. Long, 65, of Grove City collided on George Junior Road at the Aldi's store in Pine Township. Police said Hardisky was cited for improperly entering or crossing a road.Sept. 28 — An unknown burglar stole $1,200 from a home on Blacktown Road in Pine Township. The break-in happened Sept. 27 or 28.4:45 p.m. Sept. 24 — A thief used a check on a closed account to buy a 46-inch flat-screen television at the Sears store in Pine Grove Square, Pine Township. The suspect, a 23-year-old man who police did not identify, then tried to return the TV at two other Sears stores for a cash refund.His request for a refund of $1,365 was denied. Police said their investigation continues.
