Elizabeth J. Youkers
Elizabeth Jean Youkers, 84, formerly of Victor Road, died at 10:03 a.m. Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born July 25, 1923, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John Banford Bowser and the late Margaret Finnell.
Mrs. Youkers was a homemaker. She was an avid card player and a huge bingo player, mostly playing at Highfield Hall. She also enjoyed going to the casinos and playing the slots.
She is survived by a son and his wife, Ralph C. Youkers and Cheryl L. Youkers; and two daughters, Mrs. Terry (Linda Jean) Shanor and Mrs. Dean (Margaret Ann) Slagle, all of Butler; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Youkers; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Youkers was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Charles Youkers, who passed away June 7, 1996; a son, Larry Albert Youkers; two brothers; and a sister.
<B>YOUKERS</B> — Private services for Elizabeth Jean Youkers, who died Monday, July 14, 2008, were held at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B> with the Rev. Dr. Robert Peterson, of St. John's Reformed Church, officiating.
