Sunday — A Garmin global positioning system unit was stolen from a car parked in the old PNC Bank drive-through lot. The item, valued at $130, was taken between 10 and 11 a.m.Friday — Police filed drunken and drugged driving charges against Bridget D. Kaiser, 29, of Butler, stemming from a traffic stop about 11:30 p.m. June 30 at South Monroe and East Cunningham streets.Kaiser's blood alcohol level was 0.123 percent, according to a police report. A level of 0.08 percent is considered intoxicated under state law.A blood test, meanwhile, showed she had cocaine and marijuana in her system, the police report said.Kaiser is charged with driving under the influence and driving under the influence of a combination of alcohol and drugs.
Sunday — An unknown burglar stole an undisclosed amount of money from a home on Turk Road in Brady Township. A rear door was pried open to get into the house. The break-in happened between 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday.10:42 p.m. Saturday — Gary Joseph Codispot, 52, was seriously injured when a car struck the motorcycle he was driving at Saxonburg and Patterson roads in Jefferson Township.Codispot, who was wearing a helmet, was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition was not known this morning.Frank Sherman, 92, of Butler, who was driving the car, suffered minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.Police said Sherman was issued several unspecified traffic citations in connection with the crash.10:05 a.m. Friday — Angelo J. Talarico, 23, of Erie was hurt when the motorcycle he was driving crashed on Interstate 79 in Worth Township. Talarico, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.Friday — About 900 pounds of brass valves were stolen from PSC Metals on New Castle Road in Slippery Rock Township. The property, worth $1,500, was taken between Wednesday and Friday.Friday — A brown leather wallet containing money and banks cards was stolen from a 75-year-old woman's purse at St. Christopher's Church on North Franklin Street in Prospect. The wallet was taken between noon and 12:30 p.m.Thursday — A 20-inch, boy's bicycle was stolen overnight from a home in the 1200 block of Water Street in Chicora. The black, BMX-style bike is a Diamondback, Matt Hoffman edition with gray handle bars.June 30 — A gray, 1998 Dodge 1500 pickup truck with a steel ladder rack was stolen from the T-Bar on Herman Road in Clearfield Township.June 26 — A jar filled with about $500 in change was taken in a burglary at a Weiland Road home in Concord Township. The break-in and theft happened between June 20 and 26.
Sunday — Several guns were stolen in a burglary at a New Castle Road home in Franklin Township, Butler County. The break-in and theft happened between June 17 and Sunday.
Saturday — A Tom Tom global positioning system unit, Samsung digital camera and musical compact discs were stolen from a vehicle at an Old Ash Road home in Springfield Township. The theft happened between 3 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday.<B></B>
