Regarding the letter by Joseph Matson (“It’s not their money,” Nov. 26).

Amen and thank you to Mr. Matson for voicing this opinion for all of us. I agree with him 100 percent that the Butler Township commissioners should return a budget surplus to the taxpayers it belongs to.

Every year I worry: How do I pay my taxes? I am living from paycheck to paycheck, and the stress is messing with my health.

I think the township commissioners should stop and think. Just make a nice refund for all of us.
