4:29 p.m. Tuesday — One person was hurt when a sport utility vehicle driven by Renee Curry, 41, and a car driven by Jacob Pizer, 25, both of Butler, collided at Route 8 and McCalmont Road. A youth riding in the SUV suffered a minor injury.2:39 a.m. July 4 — Crystal D. Myers, 44, of Valencia was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Hansen Avenue.Tuesday — Police charged Alex J. Pasqualini, 18, of Slippery Rock Township and Nathan D. Seekford, 18, of Brady Township with shoplifting merchandise worth a combined $459 from the Kohl's store in the Butler Crossing shopping plaza.The teens were spotted on store surveillance video taking the items, according to court documents.Pasqualini allegedly stole running shoes, a watch and three bottles of cologne. Seekford allegedly took two pairs of shoes.Both suspects are charged with retail theft.Tuesday — Casey L. Miller, 25, of Connoquenessing Township was charged with drunken driving and several traffic tickets stemming from a traffic stop shortly before 2 a.m. June 29 on New Castle Road near Eberhart Road.In addition to driving under the influence, Miller is charged with disregarding a flashing red light, driving without insurance, failing to carry her driver's license, and an open container violation.
Tuesday — An unknown thief stole a mailbox from an Emlenton woman's home on Bell Road in Scrubgrass Township. The theft happened between 10 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday.
9:35 p.m. July 10 — Janice Norris, 51, of Evans City, and Jacqueline McClymonds, 49, of Prospect were cited for harassment in connection with a physical altercation at a residence in Connoquenessing Township.Police allege McClymonds struck Norris with a zucchini, at which point Norris pulled McClymonds' hair.
