2:44 a.m. Thursday — James Virgil Pryor, 33, of Butler was charged with driving while his privilege was suspended and driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Penn Street and Columbia Way.2:37 a.m. Thursday — Jennard De Wayne Witherspoon, 36, of Pittsburgh was charged with simple assault, aggravated assault and disorderly conduct following a fight with Aaron Andrew Arnold, 25, of Butler on South Chestnut Street. A warrant has been issued for Witherspoon's arrest.11 a.m. Wednesday — Anthony Michael Cordo, 26, of Butler was charged with retail theft after he allegedly failed to pay for $47 worth of gas at the Honey Bear station on East Jefferson Street.1:57 p.m. Tuesday — Police are searching for a green Chevrolet van involved in a hit-and-run accident on Fourth Avenue near Pillow Street. A parked car belonging to Cynthia Crisanti of Butler was damaged.June 9 — Amanda Lee Haskin, 19, of Butler was charged with forgery and receiving stolen property after she allegedly stole a $79 check belonging to Rachelle Brown of Butler from Brown's mailbox, signed the check and had her mother cash it.
5:57 p.m. Monday — Duane E. Pritts, 45, of Zelienople was arrested for driving under the influence on Perry Highway in Zelienople.7:57 p.m. June 29 — Susan L. McCorry, 52, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Evans City Road.
11:56 p.m. Thursday — Kirby M. Gordon, 31, of Evans City was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 68 near Sterling Village Road in Butler Township.4:45 p.m. Thursday — A SUV driven by Daniel R. Parr of Butler and a minivan driven by Tammi S. McCoy of Kittanning collided on Route 528 in Franklin Township. McCoy suffered a minor injury. Parr and an 11-year-old boy in McCoy's vehicle were uninjured. All individuals were wearing seat belts.12:47 a.m. Thursday — Someone threw an unknown object from the overpass near East Butler Road, damaging the hood of a tractor trailer and breaking the windshield. Driver James E. Cassatt of Revloc, Pa., was not injured.4 p.m. Wednesday — Someone stole a lawnmower, a snowplow and hedge clippers belonging to Tina Suchonic from her property on Grant Avenue in East Butler between 3:30 p.m. June 25 and 4 p.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Wednesday — Someone stole a solar light valued at $25 and belonging to Denise Goetz from her yard on Springhouse Road in Center Township.8 p.m. Monday — Someone removed a baby lamb belonging to Michelle Simms of Cabot from a fenced area along Cornplanter Road in Winfield Township then killed it between 10 p.m. June 29 and 8 p.m. Monday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.12:03 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by Kathryn S. Borowski, 44, of Erie crashed into a guard rail on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. Borowski was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. She was cited for careless driving.Noon June 29 — Someone took a black Meadowland Dwarf Rabbit and its cage, valued at $125, from outside a residence on Moraine Drive in Muddy Creek Township between 6 p.m. June 28 and noon June 29.
May 20 — The American Legion Michael Kosar Post No. 778 on Legion Memorial Lane in Butler was charged with failing to maintain records and operating gambling devices between Nov. 18, 2007, and May 20, 2008.
11:37 p.m. June 29 — Someone stole a gasoline-powered generator and an EFCO brush cutter belonging to John and Marjorie Reed of Moon Township from a storage shed on their property at 7212 Davis Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
