Butler Police11:04 a.m. Saturday — Two children were hurt when a sport utility vehicle driven by Margaret A. Ray, 32, of Butler struck a utility pole on Penn Street. An 8-year-old Butler girl and an 8-year-old Butler boy, both wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.
Butler Twp PoliceMonday — Police filed two traffic tickets against Matthew R. Green, 24, of Butler in connection with a five-vehicle crash last week on Route 356. No injuries were reported in the wreck about 5 p.m. Dec. 5. Green was cited for careless driving and driving at an unsafe speed.10:19 a.m. Friday — Tabatha Singer, 27, of Butler was hurt when a vehicle struck the vehicle she was driving at Route 68 and South Eberhart Road. Singer was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.The other driver, Roman Ryzhkov, 28, of Ashville, N.C., caused the collision when he ran a red light, police said. Police said he was cited for the traffic light violation.
State Police, Mercer7:55 p.m. Dec. 4 — A car driven by James L. Bowmer, II, 40, of Stoneboro crashed after hitting a deer on Kilgore Road just east of McCurdy Road in Worth Township, Mercer County.Bowmer’s car, after it struck the deer in the middle of the road, traveled off the road, hit an embankment and rolled onto its roof. Bowmer, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with minor injuries.
