1:59 a.m. Monday — A traffic stop at East Brady and North Elm street landed two men in Butler County Prison. Police said the suspects, William James Burns, 22, of New Castle and Dwayne Robert Emerick, 24, of Butler, were wanted on warrants.Lawrence County authorities had been looking for Burns since April when a fugitive warrant was issued for his arrest on five counts each of theft and receiving stolen property in Shenango Township, according to court documents.Butler County Court, meanwhile, in December issued a bench warrant for Emerick after he failed to appear at an enforcement hearing for a 2008 shoplifting conviction.9:47 p.m. Sunday — Police called for a fight at Chestnut and Cunningham streets arrested one of the suspects after finding he was wanted on a pair of warrants.Richard Lloyd McManus, 41, of Butler was placed in the county jail on a fugitive warrant stemming from a drunken-driving arrest in 2006, and a bench warrant for failing to appear at a 2007 court hearing following his conviction on drug paraphernalia possession and disorderly conduct charges.City officers nabbed McManus after someone called police to report three men fighting in the middle of the intersection, and blocking traffic. Police said McManus, who was allegedly intoxicated, was cited for public drunkenness.2:20 a.m. Sunday — Charles Jennings, 48, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on East Locust Street. Police said Jennings also was cited for driving without a license, a lighting violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.Saturday — A 60-gallon air compressor was reported stolen from the back porch of a West New Castle Street apartment. The property, valued at $300, was taken between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Monday — A Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver was reported stolen from a Shuler Road home in Clearfield Township. The theft occurred between July 13 and Monday.11:03 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Erika M. Vincent, 17, of Butler struck a utility pole along Unionville Road in Center Township. Police said Vincent faces a ticket for a lane violationFriday — An unknown burglar between 5:45 and 10 p.m. stole $92 from Valley Community Service, a business on Kaiser Road in Summit Township.

11:39 p.m. Sunday — Marcos Ruiz Alcantara, no age given, of Kittanning was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence on Pony Farm Road in North Buffalo Township.10:08 a.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Richard P. Clark, 26, of Templeton and Bridget M. White, 32, of New Bethlehem collided on Route 28 in Boggs Township. Police said Clark was cited for careless driving.Saturday — A leather jacket and a pair of diamond rings each with a gold band were stolen in a burglary at a Freeport Road home in South Buffalo Township. The break-in occurred between 7 p.m. Friday and 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

6:56 p.m. Monday — A pickup truck driven by William Wawrzynski, 68, of New Castle and a car driven by Debra S. Valvano, 48, of Portersville collided at Route 65 and Center Church Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.Police said Wawrzynski was cited for careless driving.
