Monday — Police arrested a Greene County man wanted on three warrants. Officers found Cody Ray Howard, 20, of Waynesburg at the Butler Public Library.Howard, according to court documents, was wanted by state police on an arrest warrant in connection with a Sept. 7 burglary in Brady Township.He also was wanted on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a hearing in Butler County Court stemming from a misdemeanor drug case.Additionally, Howard was wanted on a bench warrant in Allegheny County for a case involving charges of possessing drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct.

4:29 p.m. Monday — Blaikley Thompson, 19, of Butler was hurt when her car and another vehicle collided at Route 8 and Filbert Road. Thompson was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Marsha Alvino, 55, of Butler was the other driver.12:18 p.m. Monday — Vehicles driven by Helen Grenci, 83, and Tiffany Musko, 32, both of Butler collided at Route 8 North and Belmont Road.
